FACIAL CARE TIPS

HYDRO GLOW FACIAL (DEEP CLEANSE + SKIN PREP FACIAL)

BEFORE CARE

  • ​​Avoid strong active skincare (AHA/BHA, retinol, vitamin A) for 48 hours prior

  • Avoid injectables (Botox or fillers) in the treatment area for 1–2 weeks prior

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning for 3–5 days before

  • If possible, arrive with clean skin, but don’t worry — we will fully cleanse your skin before treatment

  • Stay well hydrated in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment

  • Let your practitioner know if your skin is irritated, broken, or inflamed so we can adjust your treatment safely

AFTER CARE

  • Skin may feel deeply cleansed, hydrated, and slightly flushed — this is completely normal

  • Avoid makeup for 12–24 hours where possible

  • Avoid strong active skincare (AHA/BHA, retinol, exfoliants) for 48 hours post-treatment

  • Avoid heat (saunas, steam, hot yoga) and excessive sweating for 24 hours

  • Do not pick or touch the skin

  • Skin purging may occur in the days following your facial — this is a positive response where underlying congestion is brought to the surface. It is part of the skin’s natural detoxification process and typically resolves quickly, leaving the skin clearer

  • Use gentle, hydrating, barrier-repair products

  • SPF is essential daily — however, be mindful that some SPFs contain pore-clogging or irritating ingredients. Where possible, opt for clean, mineral-based SPF options (zinc-based) that support the skin barrier

  • Maintain results with regular treatments every 4–6 weeks

BEFORE CARE

  • Avoid strong active skincare (retinol, acids, exfoliants) for 48 hours prior

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning for 3–5 days before

  • SPF is essential — opt for clean, mineral-based options where possible

  • Results continue to improve over 3–5 days

  • Maintain results with a course of treatments and regular maintenance every 4–8 weeks

BEFORE CARE

AFTER CARE

  • Skin will feel nourished, calm, and hydrated with a visible glow

  • Avoid makeup for 12–24 hours if possible

  • Avoid strong active skincare for 48 hours post-treatment

  • Avoid heat, sweating, and saunas for 24 hours

  • Skin purging may occur as the skin rebalances and detoxifies — this is temporary and a sign your skin is clearing from within

  • Continue with gentle, nourishing skincare to support the barrier

  • Be mindful of SPF — choose clean, mineral-based formulations where possible

  • Prioritise rest and hydration to maximise results

  • Avoid makeup

24–72 hours:

  • Skin may feel dry, tight, or lightly flaky

  • Only use gentle, hydrating, barrier-repair products

  • Avoid strong active skincare for 5–7 days

  • Avoid sun exposure — SPF is essential

3–7 days:

  • Skin will appear clearer, brighter, and more refined

  • Any dryness or shedding will settle naturally — do not pick or peel

  • Skin purging can occur as cellular turnover accelerates, bringing underlying congestion to the surface — this is part of the regeneration process

GENERAL AFTERCARE:

  • Be mindful of SPF — opt for clean, mineral-based SPF to protect and support healing skin

  • Stay hydrated and support collagen production through diet and lifestyle

  • Results continue improving over 2–4 weeks

  • For optimal results: 6 treatments, spaced 3–4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance every 4–8 weeks
